Congregational Care

Christians are called to go out into the world beyond the walls of the church and transform the world. We do this through witnessing and meeting the various needs of people in this hurting world. We encourage people to do this here at Montrose Zion. However, sometimes people right here in our own church family have needs as well. We also need to provide for their care. Please take a minute to read about the congregational care opportunities here at Montrose Zion, and see if there might be a place where we could care for your needs, or help you care for the needs of someone else.

manna ministry

Manna Ministry

The Manna ministry offers the opportunity to help those in our church family during a crisis time. This could include financial struggles, illness, or just the inability to feed yourself or family for a period of time. This is a great way to show our love for Jesus in action. It’s easy to say that we have read the Gospels and understand that we must take care of those who are in need but entirely different when we know and believe it is true and then act on it as a way to show our love for the Lord and each other. This Ministry offers home cooked meals to be delivered by the person who makes the meal or another person who has been set up ahead of time. We also accept home cooked meals that can be frozen and put in the freezer at church.
