Music

We are blessed with many different musical talents and provide many opportunities for people to share their gifts in worship and other ways.

Montrose Zion recently put on a Pops Concert and this is one of the many great performances!

worship choir

9:00 am Traditional Worship. Year round. Rehearsals run from 7:00-8:30 pm on Thursday evenings. We sing anthems and special music for services and programs.

praise team

11:00 am Contemporary Worship. Year Round. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at 8:00 pm. We prepare 5-7 new praise and worship songs weekly for the contemporary service and special programs. By audition only.

special music

Year Round. Provide solos or small ensemble music for various worship services and programs. Vocal or instrumental.

church orchestra

October-December, February-April. Tuesday evening rehearsals are from 6:00-7:00 pm. All ages and skill levels, all instruments. Provide music for selected worship services and programs.

children’s choir

We practice Wednesday evenings from 6:45-8:00 pm during EDEN Eve. We sing for worship services and special programs. Contact Janel Darrin in the church office for more information.

brass choir

We prepare and provide special music for various worship services and programs.

angelus bell choir

September-May. We have Monday evening rehearsals from 6:30-8:00 pm. Provide bell music for worship services and special programs. Contact Bill Eyerdom at chozomaster747@aol.com.

av tech

Complete training on sound, video and computer equipment. Assist with setup and operations for worship services and special programs. Recording and duplication of services and programs.
