Prayer Ministry

The Prayer Ministry provides opportunities for members of the congregation to come before God to worship, give thanks, and intercede for the ministries of Montrose Zion, for individuals, and for our world. We want to listen to God and join Him in the ministry He has planned for us.

Interested In Being a Part of the Prayer Chain?

Now is an ideal time to be added to the Prayer Chain. This is a ministry you do from the comfort of your home. You receive the call, pass it on then pray for the needs. We later share the answers to prayer. Please contact Al or Flo Wavle at 330.836.1156 or al@wavle.com!

Prayer Chain

Prayer Chain contact person(s) receives requests from staff and congregants, fills out intake form and then initiates chain.

Intercessory Prayer Team

Team members meet in the Prayer Room before Eden Eve dinners and Sunday mornings at 10:00 am to pray for our church leaders and upcoming events.

Prayer Before Sunday Services

The team meets at the front of the sanctuary at 8:30am.

Prayer in the Prayer Room During the Services and the Sunday School Hour

Volunteers spend the hour in the Prayer Room interceding for the worship service and the classes.

Communion Prayer

Team members are available during and after communion to pray with anyone who so desires.

Prayer Cards

Cards are gathered during the offering.

Special Prayer Events

Volunteers help plan and coordinate special prayer events such as vigils.

Prayer Room

The Prayer Room exists for the use of the congregation and staff. It provides a quiet place to meet with God.

Prayer requests that have been submitted are prayed for.

People have an opportunity to sign up for a regular weekly time slot on the chart outside the door.

Training/Educational Opportunities

Classes and events are developed and offered to the congregation.
